We love our kids. So does Jesus. One of the most tender moments
in the Bible is when Jesus, provoked by his impatient disciples
to find some space in order to get away from needy people,
instead invites children to come and sit on his lap. They come,
he playfully talks with them and blesses them, and shows his
disciples what- and who- is truly important. Read the story
in Matthew 19:13-15.
First Lutheran creates activities and ministry
for children birth to age 18. From a cradle roll after a
child is baptized,
to Sunday school, to special youth groups, children are

of inviting kids to come together in the presence of God
