“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are my brothers and sisters, you did it also to me.” Matthew 25:40

Faithfulness is loyalty. Loyalty to our Lord. Loyalty to fellow human beings. Loyalty to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Lord calls us to a mission: to serve Him by serving His people and world in the peace of Christ's love. Our church engages in many missions, many outreaching services of love. We believe and know that it is essential in life to push ourselves beyond our natural boundaries. Humans who instinctively only seek to preserve themselves need to be called out to go further. The church in the New Testament, the 'ekklesia' in Greek, means 'the called-out ones.

We seek to be faithful to God by honoring our name as the church and being 'the called-out ones.' With the mission of serving those especially whose life situations demand that someone tell them they are not forgotten, our missions in many cases reach out to people who are hurting. We also are proud to be part of the 5 million member Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and to serve through this national and global Christian Church. Will you join in these missions and outreaching avenues of living out our faith together? Will you give your time, energy and investment to them? Will you sense the fulfillment of responding to God's call of you and to serve God joyfully in these ways? View these pages with thankfulness in your hearts for a church that seeks to be faithful to our good and gracious God, the Savior Jesus Christ.
